[So what's up with Char lately?

Second puberty. That's what. He's angsty as all get-out, and being huuuuge means that he's been super-awkward lately. The scorch-marks usually present on the walls and floors are twice as common as they used to be. He's been catching his wings on stuff like it's going out of style, and more than once he's donked his head on a doorway. It is probably super hilarious to watch him be all fat and clumsy but if he catches you laughing then so help him god.

He's been spending a lot of time up on the roof. Which STILL STINKS OF RAYQUAZA. There's lots of space up there, and very little stuff that can catch on fire. It's high up, too. He has a feeling he should be getting used to high places now. What with the wings and all.

...His wings. Sigh. They got abused to hell and back in the shadow incident; even if he'd wanted to, it would have been stupid to try and fly with them. Even now that they're healing up, he doesn't want to think about it. He... kind of hates them. They're heavy. They keep hitting stuff, and shit hurts, bro. He can't find a comfortable way to lie on his back or sit in chairs. He keeps getting backaches, and even just figuring out how to work a set of muscles he grew out of nowhere is harder than he thought it'd be. He's positive he'd never be able to fly with them. He's maybe a little scared to try. With the way things are now, all those wings are is dead weight.

Which is probably all they deserve to be. Somehow, they've become a symbol of everything that happened when he went Shadow. And it shows, too. He's been avoiding looking at his reflection. He's trying not to talk about them. Really, he's been doing his best to act like they just don't even exist. They sure don't feel like a part of him -- just some sort of extraneous parasite, some foreign, unwelcome entity.

...He still hasn't written to Green about evolving. He hasn't even mentioned it to Aiden. That's typical Char, though -- just pretend the problem never happened, no matter how obvious it is.]

Hey, anybody seen Rasputin around? He's a six-foot spider with a skull on his back. Can't miss him. I musta I spooked him first time I came back to the room, and he ain't come back since. I guess he ain't used to me bein' so different. He's probably in the forest, but... I don't think I should be goin' in there.

He likes eatin' raccoons and cats and stuff, so... if you got anythin' little, you might wanna watch it.

[Oh yeah, half the school is talking mushrooms and rats and marshmallows and stuff.] ...Actually, if you're little too, you really might wanna watch it.
